America is built on small business.
Not as a slogan. Look down your own street. The shop that knows your order. The contractor who picks up on a Saturday. The gym where somebody notices you stopped showing up. The person who owns it is usually the person who opens it, closes it, and does payroll after both.
They’re also the most neglected people in business.
Not ignored. Sold to constantly. But almost nothing they get sold was built for them.
Small business gets treated like a starter size — a smaller version of a real company, working its way up to being one. So the industry builds for the real ones.
We’ve never seen it that way. A small business isn’t a smaller version of anything. It’s the thing itself.
